The Rush Limbaugh nuts would still vote for Nixon today. i dont know about "rush limbaugh nuts" or not but, both robert caro, and e.j. dionne jr (considered liberal authors and authorities on politics/journalism) have noted the difference of nixon and jfk having the first presidential debate on tv working in favor to jfk. whether this was simply 'good looks' i doubt- but there must be something there. in 20 years whomever will be president in '08, ppl will note youtube and the availability of seeing candidates on the internet too being a factor in the election, they already are. Kennedy had charisma. He had a way of making people feel good about their country. He promoted social change and was not part of the "good ole boy network" (unfortunately Lyndon Johnson was) I love bringing up ancient history as a way to avoid talking about relevant issues going on today..... clip on!
