clip-on-tie says: Recognizing that we have negative traits simply means that we are complete. And in that completeness we gain grater access to our universal, nonlocal selves. "Come to the dark side - we have cookies!" Good clip wiccatexan, they better be chocolate chip, or forget about it! cheers that's some sensible paradox what we need to keep remembering What kind of cookies besides chocolate chip? Fudge chunks and macadamia nuts! Mmm..... fudge....... mmm...dark side..... Gingerbread cookies! I'll make and bring them!! We're all fractionated parts of the One, like separate cups, each filled with water (Spirit, Life) from the same source. When the cup is broken (Death), the water returns to the source from which it came, drops returning to the Ocean, the One True Consciousness. The Universe (Existence) is a Hologram, a Projection. Break it into tiny pieces (wiccantexan, foxyarse, clip-on-tie, ecossaiseheloise, tanyamm, Deepti, coconutshell, etc.) and each piece retains the image of the Whole. Each one of us is everyone and everything. There are no others, only ourselves in different forms. That's why Jesus said, "I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, because I and my Father are One." We should ... Thanks for the comment Steve. The golden rule is best interpreted as saying: "Treat others only in ways that you're willing to be treated in the same exact situation." To apply it, you'd imagine yourself in the exact place of the other person on the receiving end of the action. If you act in a given way toward another, and yet are unwilling to be treated that way in the same circumstances, then you violate the rule. And for many centuries the idea has been influential among people of very diverse cultures, which to me says the golden rule may be an important moral truth. Any "special" cookies? The dark side can be the best place to see the light. All you create All you destroy All that you do All that you say. All that you eat And everyone you meet All that you slight And everyone you fight. All that is now All that is gone All that's to come and everything under the sun is in tune but the sun is eclipsed by the moon. |
