Keep all notes, sketches, images, web pages, etc. in one place! Scrollable. Easy to learn by watching animated tutorial. Fantastic!

Doesn't Google Notebook do the same thing?

I have used evernote for quite a while. I wholeheartdly recommend it. It has been very useful for me. I give it a 9.5 out of 10.

If this product fuses the web and the local desktop clipping into one then I'm downloading it, can anyone confirm?

I don't know what you mean by "fusing". But with the Firefox extension, anything I find on the web I can add to the Evernote. It has extensive "categories" that are customizable (thank goodness). It will save anything!

Yes, you can store your clips on your desktop, edit them, print them. There are other useful tools such as notes and lists. It all stores in roll form where you can scroll through the clips or search by categories. I swear by it.

It is great. Push one button to save an entire web page or everything you have highlighted into a note. You can add categories and everything. It even remembers the web address of web notes. And it is so unobtrusive. Just one click and your note is saved. It is even easier to use than clipmarks, it is just missing the social aspect.

Yes, the social aspect is missing. But then, we come here for that! :~)

Yep, that's why I am here. Plus this is a great place to find stuff to put into Evernote.

It's a great product.
Even more promising: they're working on a web version "my evernote"

For the moment it isn't public. And although I registered myself for beta-testing I haven't been invited yet.
But it looks promising nonetheless.

Received my invitation for their webservice today. I've been playing around with it for 5 minutes & it looks very promising.
