Although the subject of this article has not yet received a personal apology, it seems as if slowly but surely our schools and administrators are becoming sensitized to the fact that there are gay students in all of our institutions of learning. These students deserve the same support and encouragement as well as acknowledgment as all the other students. I am glad that this Newark high school administrator has seen the light and it attempting to correct the situation.
