Time's Up! is a collection of bloggers who are champions for victims of crime. Through this group we hope to bring awareness to the injustices to victims and to search out solutions with an SOS to those in the capacity to make changes happen.

Victims abused by their intimate partners who are law enforcement officers often have nowhere to turn for help when trying to escape! And even if they do, sometimes they are stalked and battered through the court system. I was recently sanctioned $25,000 because I filed protective orders to try to stop the violence against an abusive cop (ex-husband). Any ideas about what I can do? Seems like if victims are sanctioned for trying to protect themselves, it is in contradiction of one's civil rights...Abuse of power extends past those behind the blue wall...the Good Ol' Boys includes the biased judges!
