Speaking of grandkids, did you have a great Christmas with your little grandson, Dorine?

Happy New Year, folks!

Thanks for asking, TN. I had a spectacular Christmas with my grandson! He smiled at me the whole time! I gave him a book on wild animals that he can enjoy for years! I'm beaming and can hardly sit still! I've got the "granny grin"!

Unfortunately, my daughter was on a trip, so I missed her. She's having a blast!

Sorry to get ot, gingembre

I bet you out-beamed any Christmas tree, just from smiling! Great to hear, Dorine.

That is the most awful story. I can't imagine!
I'm glad his wife began to miss him!!

I spent Christmas Eve with all my children and their little ones around me. We were tucked in corners and hanging from nails on the walls. This was the first year that I've had Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and it felt weird. To make it even weirder, no turkey. I made a seafood Alfredo concoction to go in pastry shells, white acre peas, salad and assorted desserts. The little ones had chicken....of course. It tasted great and was a hit but I think I'm too much of a traditionalist to do this again.

How'd you guys get those smilies?

That sounds like a tasty dinner, jatfla. A dinner that turkeys heartily approve of.

Smile back at me and you will see the gift we clippers received for Christmas. It is supposed to work for the holiday season.

Hey~ That's cool!

Yes, the turkeys rejoiced; but not the shrimp, scallops or crabs. I may have to have my turkey-fix for hubby's B-day in January.
