　セキュリティ対策ソフトを装うアドウェアの新種「SystemDoctor 2006」が出回っている。ウェブルート・ソフトウェアによれば、SystemDoctorを配布するWebサイトが日本語で書かれていることから、日本人が被害に遭う確率が高いとしている。

<BR /><DIV>　SystemDoctorは、｢エラーが見つかりました｣などと警告するポップアップ広告を経由して、SystemDoctorを配布するWebサイトに誘導する。SystemDoctorをインストール後にスキャンを実行すると、実際には存在しないシステムエラーが見つかったと警告。これを修復するには登録料が必要だとして、クレジットカード決済によりSystemDoctorを売りつけようとする。

<BR /><DIV>　ウェブルート・ソフトウェアによれば、SystemDoctorは英語版のWebサイトが6月頃に登場しており、日本語版のWebサイトが登場したのはごく最近だという。英語版を翻訳した日本語版のWebサイトでは、誤字や不自然な日本語が多々見られる。

<BR />　セキュリティ対策ソフトを装うアドウェアとしては、これまで「WinAntiVirusPro」や「WinAntiSpyware 2005」などがあり、これらを押し売りする日本語サイトも報告されている。
