The thought that kept repeating it's self, was that we must never forget that cruelty, and refusal to recognize the suffering of others, is not a trait that is common to any race, culture, or nationality. It is a trait that has the potential to manifest it's self in any member of the human race. It is a trait that has the potential to manifest it's self in any member of the human race. We always have to remember that while we cannot imagine ourselves generally in a situation, where this base characteristic could infect our actions, that life can take turns that present us with situations that cannot be understood at the time, can cause our resolve to crumble, and allow our actions to be directed by fear. We must never be complacent, and be on our guard, so that we can bear a course, that will deny corrupt thinking a foothold. Pictures like this can both remind us and warn us of the danger of letting our guard down for the sake of an action that we will regret for the rest of our lives. It also reminds of how fortunate we are to be unlikely to be in such a position the way things stand.....but things always change, more often through unqualified chance, than by design.

Disturbing? Yes, & it should be because this is how we act by not paying attention to the little things in life that irritate us. Every time we experience polarization within ourself(anger, frustration, etc) that is, the spirit vs the material mind we have the opportunity to make a choice. If we have failed to give sufficient thought to the consequences & thought more of ourselves than of others in that instant I think we will each have to say it hasn't turned out all that well. I believe it is only through each of us continuing to make choices that take in all of us(Vibration of a #9) will the opportunity for real peace & security be possible. So in the end it is the willingness to change & education that will lead us out of the sad situation we find ourself in today.
