schreibe says: A Great Article by Michael Kinsley. This is exactly what I've been thinking lately. If us Democrats don't get our act together soon....and in full force we are going to have the "Straight Talk Express" running right down our throats! The proverbial shit is soon going to hit the fan", and we will be fighting with each other while the train rumbles on! Ala, 1968, 1972, and 1980. John McCain wins if the Democrats nominate Hillary Clinton. Barack Obama beats McCain in nationwide polling consistently. yea Bobby Rutan, I've heard various polls and opinions about how they would match up. Guess I just don't trust too much any more. Am kind of shell shocked after the past 8 years of Bush and Company! I always wonder how yanceducat can be so discounting of the Obama campaign. He only leads Hillary in Delegates, popular votes, states won, and cash raised. Hillary who once had 20& to 30% leads and considered herself the anointed one claims huge victories when she scrapes by with a 2% margin. Yet the Obama supporters are delusional. If that isn't arrogance then I don't know how you describe it. I place importance on describing history as it actually happened, so do most historians. Another historical fact is that Obama is ahead of Hillary in the delegate count, popular votes won, state contests won, and cash raised. He also consistently performs better against McCain then does Hillary, yet the Obama supporters are delusional. Nice. You have an interesting take on history. Most people seem to believe that without the catalyst of Dr. Martin Luther King that civil rights legislation may not have even been around for Lyndon Johnson to sign. Other clippers have pointed out that Lyndon Johnson had to be brought around to the notion of sponsoring, signing civil rights legislation. I believe moving a nation is by far the more difficult task then merely pushing the legislation through congress. I guess your entitled to your belief. I would like to point out that you have a very isolated and selective view of this campaign. There has not been a singular event, there have been multiple events when either Hillary, Bill, or indi... Feel free to end your discourse. The cult of the majority. Interesting. Your comments have become inane. What you have with Obama is a movement or a tidal wave if you want to call it that. As I said, your comments have become inane. You're not even humorous. |
