i was having lunch with someone on friday and they said they think of clipmarks as an online magazine about every/any topic. they don't participate on the site (too shy) but they visit it everyday.

i thought that was an interesting way to describe it.

Oooh, I agree. I get most of my news here. I count on the other clippers to clip what I need to know.

lately we've been working on a new home page that places greater emphasis on clipmarks as a destination instead of just focusing on it as a tool.

we're hoping to make it clear that it's a site to find great information, meet interesting people and have fun. a phrase/theme we've been using lately to capture this is "information playground"

When I first signed up for CM, I never considered it a tool...it's always been a destination...and a mighty fine one it is...now if there were roller coasters and candy floss, that'd be more awesome...
