It was after the Jews in the ghetto had been largely killed or transported that the world stood up and felt guilty in not acting sooner.

I question when the world will stand up and say: Enough is enough, there is not going to be a repeat of the Warsaw Ghetto and particularly when its perpetrators are those who suffered the most by its conduct.

The major difference: the Jews of Warsaw were not put in the ghetto because they had elected raving lunatics to be their leaders - officials who threatened the majority population with total destruction.

Imagine what would happen if the current situation were reversed. If Hamas trapped a minority population of Jews in Gaza, the captive Jews would not survive very long.

I changed your quote a little to reflect "America".

So...Imagine if the world said, hey, let's steal America and keep it for ourselves! It wasn't theirs originally, so why don't we just take it and claim it as ours? We even have big mighty co-conspirators to help us do that. Yay! We were once oppressed and victims ourselves, so we can always hold that up and whimper a bit and use it to gain sympathy for our seige. Okay, so far, so good. Now we just have to get rid of all those pesky Americans. But what to do with them? Well, we cou...

Anyway, we'd simply have to beat them all back. If we kill enough of their children, they might even lash out in agony and despair and if one of these terrorist Americans DARES to throw a stone, or if a desperate, grief-stricken one of them should happen to slip through the borders of Texas and "go postal" on any one of their oppressors, or God forbid even launch a missile at us, then we'll bomb the lot of them, dammit! We'll teach them the hard way! We'll isolate them even more and oppress ALL the Americans throughout the whole of Texas, to pay for that transgression! How dare they oppose our will and might!? If they starve down there in Texas, tough luck. That's just too bad. Not our probl...

It's about time the world stopped allowing the Israelies to use the holocaust as an excuse for their murdering acts. What the Nazis did was bad, surely It's just as bad when Israel does the same things.

you have made some valid points. Thank you for the analogy.

I am not a Zionist. I don't believe that God gave the land to them. Yet, I do think it goes a bit too far to call the Israelis 'Nazis' because their motivation is to secure their nation (albeit by ruthless measures), not to commit mass genocide for ideological reasons.

As long as Israel is supported by the USA, they'll continue down this pathe of repression...So it's up to we US citizens to pressure our leaders.
Will Obama or Hillary risk AIPAC support and condemn Israel? Will Congress cut off the Billions of $$ we send them every year and offend the arms dealers? Unlikley...but we can "HOPE", right? Sheeeeeeit. It's sad, really, because we're supposed to be for freedom and liberty. What lies. AMERIKA has failed.

It must be said that not all Israelis support this ruthless treatment of Palestine...There is a minority of citizens who want peace and disagree with current Gov't policies. They are one side of this mess that is largely ignored and should be supported.

Actually, at the above link, the Gush-Shalom site claims 64% of Israelis support a cease fire and negotiations, not continued repression.

You're very welcome, Crazy and thank you.

Did you btw read this clip of masbury's? Very troubling;

Israeli minister threatens holocaust on Gaza

It must be said that not all Israelis support this ruthless treatment of Palestine
True. More and more Israelis are speaking out. Some of the Israeli military are even refusing to attack the Palestinians. May they grow in numbers.
