Oh my!!!!! As I can be considered illiterate in the worldwide web, I'm not sure wether I understand this clip correctly. Can anybody who knows my username find my password through this security hole? at the risk of causing alarm, if one of your computers is left on, uses FF and i did the above and there was no master password...i could obtain every password and put discreetly on a USB disk. My friend came over about a year ago, and while i left the pc unattended and it did not auto-lock after a certain time unused, he decided to pull a prank, grabbed my passwords to a footbal betting site and changed ALL my choices. That was the time it took to go for a pizza! About 30 min before the game he called me and told me to check my team. I did and WOW!!! Oops! Thanks for this enlightment! If you doubleclick on the favicon in the address bar, a little box appears. Click "more information" and you're at the passwords, as well. You don't have to be on a login page, any page will do. If, (when you've done the above), delete the name of the site in the search box, all passwords stored can be accessed, not just the site you're on. Hey hi I,m a newbie too very interesting I,m trying to stop my gmail remembering mine I,d rather fill it myself ,,live and learn,, thanks. |
