As a fan of this show, i find this hilarious...essentially ATHF light brights caused this scare, when any teenager would have looked at these and known immediately what they were.

It's not funny one bit!
This gag cost the city a lot of money.
It caused anxiety to good people who are on constant lookout for the next bomb that will blow them up.
You are very immature.
You think the teenagers are all-knowing?
You are so smart, you'd recognize what it was "immediately"?
Most teenagers are in their own worlds and don't give a hoot about the dangers we are all facing.
It's time you grow up!

pssh, please. this was done in 10 major cities, and boston was the only one with the problem. For reference, im not a teenager, by any strech, but this is a movie promotion for 10-30 year olds. I'll guarantee more people saw this and knew what it was immediately, than thought it was something dangerous. I also think you grossly underestimate how teenagers feel about the "dangers we are all facing"
However i digress, i lived in Boston for years, and i was living in NYC during 9/11, and i dont find bomb scares funny, but i do think its funny that a cartoon viral ad promotion essentially done on Lite Brites could cause such a still in one city, where as it had no effects anywhere else.

Now, we need to be sensible. The terrorists who want to KILL every one of us are looking at this and are probably thinking what a great idea. They can plant all these cartoon-looking contraptions (but actual bombs) all over 10 major cities and people won't call authorities to investigate because, after all, it's just a gag. Nice work.

There was a "strange" backpack with wires sticking out of it in a nearby big city the other day. Several blocks were evacuated (even old folks in wheelchairs had to be specially moved to a safe location), traffic shut down for hours. Turns out someone left it as a joke. Not funny.
