All the technical data is give on the site.I noticed that too but I'm not sure if it means these images we not edited in some way. As a graphic artist I'd say they've been edited. I always edit my photos and I think there are couple different ways to think that process. I usually try to edit my photos to look like it was in real life. That's one way but then sometimes I try to concentrate to the feeling that moment had and edit my photos to match that. Those are like naturalist or expressionist way to see things... I'm not sure what these photographers wanted to show with these pictures but I doubt they atleast took RAW images and fixed illumination later. That's atleast how it should be done I think The other thing that I noticed is that the photos were mainly Egyptian. It's not a place that I associated with great natural beauty. I'm glad to be put right. The impression is given that the moment of the picture just happened. Viiltaja, do you reckon this is so? I don't think all the pix are of Egypt. I know for sure #4 picture = The Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, WY - I used to live in Wyoming about 4 hrs from Jackson. The impression is given that the moment of the picture just happened.Aye, I reckon so but it's good to notice everyone sense the surrounding area in a different way. I believe atleast one of those photos are taken from http://www.timecatcher.com/ btw. |
