The Big Point is that this is still a showdown: Russia is not backing down from the demands that the U.S. ends this missile plan.


Big New Diplomatic Action: The French President came out against these USA missile plans.

Side Effect - The French President also talked about Europe forming it's own 'pan-European,' Security Pact with Russia Included.
(and, presumably, the USA not included)

All this could be a direct challenge to NATO (which is a European and USA alliance).

Also, The USA, esp. when led by monster, most-hated president Bush has clearly been a worldwide warmonger -- this is not the 'good' USA of WWII.


The USA warmongering has even used NATO (which is suppose to be a defensive treaty)...but turned NATO into an aggressive force.

Not only an aggressive force but, like in Afghanistan, an aggressive force acting outside of Europe.

IMO - make peace and security pact with the Russian. Form pan-European alliance without the USA involved. Delete NATO. Stop the missile base. Get all USA military bases out of Europe --- that's the path for peace and security.

That's a lot to do and I would urge all lobbying and actions to make it happen, as if your lives depended upon it -- because if the missile base continues it is a real-world no backing down showdown which could easily lead to shooting off nuke weapons in Europe (starting with Poland) --- with the USA standing on the sidelines and doing nothing.

Doing nothing because doing something like attacking Russian with nukes would cause the USA real damage (and Russia and the world).

Problem: While Obama's idea may be to slow this down, is that enough?

Problem: (Long story) Due to lifelong a USA president (esp. new) can't be see, no way, as 'backing down,' from the Russians.
