The news that Google was going to create "Google Phone" and the rumor that Google bought Android to develop Google Phone OS surprised readers and the world. I guess Google phone must be much popular than Iphone, whenever it's launched before of after Iphone

If they really want to attack an area, set top boxes would be a much better target IMHO. And even that should be done via partnerships rather than build it yourself. Its not like customizing the hardware for google (either for the phone or anything else) gives them a huge competitive advantage...
