n2sooners says: So I wonder who will be hurt most from this attempted boycott of Beck? I wonder why these companies don't boycott some of the liberal news stations? Could it be prejudice or just bowing down to a few? Glenn Beck is number 3 on the Fox popularity poll. Fox itself is the number one watched news channel. I guess that is just bothering the Libs. Well, none of the above are actually boycotting just Beck. Best Buy only advertises on FOX in the mornings. CVS didn't advertise on Beck. Wal-Mart pulled ads from all 'news commentary' shows on 'national cable networks.' P&G never advertised on Beck and is now restricting their ads to daytime (could be a loss to other political talk shows). Sargentos pulled Beck ads and got hammered, now claim they will pull all political talk show ads. This is way less likely to hurt Beck since his network is number one and his show is second only to Nickelodeon in his time slot. |
