jatfla says: Since he has nothing to do (while his minions screw up the Country) he might as well stay gone. Remind me again...how many days did he show up for work in the Senate? I don't know how he survived all those campaign speeches he made. I guess his recuperation will take the next 3 1/2 yrs. This is knee-jerk hypocrisy at its worst. President George W. Bush spent the entire month of August 2001 in Crawford, Texas. President Bush was in an expansive mood on Aug. 7, 2001, when he ran into reporters while playing golf at the Ridgewood Country Club in Waco, Tex. No comparison. Nice try though. After 9/11 that Administration knew where to look. No comparison. It doesn't seem to matter what evidence is presented, some simply shut their eyes, stick their fingers in their ears, and shout "no! no! no!" Remind me again...how many days did he show up for work in the Senate? While I'm sure this was just a rhetorical question, I decided to do a little research: Obama missed only 1.7% of Senate votes from 2005-2007. Naturally, he missed many more (46.3%) after beginning his run for the presidency, but he missed fewer votes than either Hillary Clinton or John McCain in that same time period. |
