pennfin says: there are some that may say i should be ashamed, but I am not. Ambien helps me out a lot beatpoet,I'm not surprised you leave your comment here Mr. Gong's first name is Zephr I'm surprised at the both of you... Which leaves us all surprised.. I passed it by because I don't do the pill thing. Zephyr ZG, is your GTalk broken? you take this one I'm fried BP, I could take this one. But you already did it, enough said. i took ambien on my honeymoon flight- it knocked me out BIGTIME..my husband literally moved my seat into upright position during landing for a layover- the entire flight got off the plane for an hour or so-- but not me! I was so passed out, i didn't even know the plane ever stopped...too strong for me to use regularly..and i am not the best sleeper... I missed this one. I'm with pennfin. I have big troubles sleeping but refuse to get hooked on anything. However, I did go through a real bad case of the awakes at one point anf get myself a trial of Ambien. It did nothing for me. Not sure about ambien, but i've tried the tylenol pm stuff and I would never touch it again. It gave me a major case of what they now call restless leg syndrome and I couldn't sleep at all... I have RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) from time to time and it's real frustrating. You feel like you're about to fall asleep and them WHAM your legs want to run the 2 minute mile. Yep, I know exactly what you are talking about. I had only experienced it twice until recently and both times were because of the tylenol pm. Then about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I had it 2 nights in a row and I didn't get any sleep at all. It was absolutely horrible. BTW, the last 2 times, I wasn't taking anything. Guys, you should try reading. No side-effects (apart from knowledge or entertainment), and usually, it drives you little by little into a very nice state of drowsiness. Then you can sleep like a baby. I used to have insomnia when I was young (like 11 or 12 yo) and since I began to read at night before trying to sleep, I never had it again. Only problem is sometimes, your book is so good you don't want to stop, and you suddenly realise it's 6am and you're still there. Bt nothing like this "restless leg" thing (never heard of it actually, must be pretty scary) Gman... it feels like a caffiene rush to your legs. I've tried reading but it doesn't seem to help me at all. Being a smoker isn't helping much either. It depends what you smoke I guess. Some natural herbs can can make you sleep when smoked I don't have problems sleeping, I work nights and I zonk out with no trouble at all. I sleep 4-6 hrs a day whether I need it or not. I could tell ya stories of my younger days, little white pills with cross on them, A tiny blue / purple dot and some 714's |
