Oh, they didn't exactly walk away - they're back in their home districts taking credit for it.

The Republicans are determined to bring President Obama down; they are obstructionist; will do nothing to help the president in any way thinking that if he fails they will have more chance of success in the next elections.

We, the people, have to prove them wrong on that, we have to defeat them again and again -- the battle between these right-wing warmongers and those who would like to see a more sane and balanced society has not ended; it's ongoing.
