There was a job fair in one of the beach communities here in Florida, and almost 500 people posted for one job offered. It was a position with the local police for an administrative assistant.

I have a daughter in Georgia that can't find work. They tell you that with at least a high school education you can find work. What a lie.

She has resorted to cleaning up job sites and sell groceries to friends and family she buys with her food stamps to survive and pay the rent/utilities. She has even gone begging at fast food restaurants when she and the grandkids didn't have food in the house because of this. (You know restaurants throw all the food in the garbage at the end of the day! )

Makes my heart sad, but any work can be good work if you're starving and a paycheck away from being homeless!
