Babyvan says: We are really scraping the bottom of the barrel if a bus driver can't figure out it's a bad idea to leave a 2 year old and 5 year old at a stop alone. I can't believe the bus company backed the driver that he was following his training!!!! I can't believe it either. They are suggesting that the driver did the right thing by following protocol. The driver really has to be a jerk and a moron to not know what to do in this situation. He should be fired and the bus company should be sued from incompetence. what happened to plain human decency? There are some people who go nuts over following the processes. The driver sounds like a mindless, brain-washed drone. I think I would have assaulted the driver. This is completely insane. One way or another, that bus would have stopped. "I was just following orders!" is the great explanation used by so many in the past to commit unthinkable acts. This bus driver should be fired and the bus company sued. We can't lose our humanity just because it's "policy." "The driver kept repeating, `The doors close, and the bus goes,' "Talk about black and white thinking. I would have punched him in the side of the face and made him stop. There are way too many stupid people on this earth. |
