Of course, Hamas does the same thing, and for the same reason - to cultivate an air of legitimacy while raising a crop of hatred.

How admirable that concern for her money-making ambition led Oprah to leave Wright's hateful pulpit. How sad that Obama didn't recognize the danger to his political ambition.

What a tragedy that neither Oprah nor Barack could recognize the destructive, bitter hatefulness that permeates this so-called house of God. Or just didn't care beyond appearances.

Well, now, Merrie, let's look at this. From twenty years of sermons, we have 90 seconds of unacceptable comments. Admittedly, I'm an Obama supporter, but I want to say to the media, "Where's the beef? Is this all ya got? Is this the best you can do?"

With people crawling all over the tapes of 20 years of sermons, we get 90 seconds. I wonder if it suggests that the 90 seconds really aren't too typical of what one heard on an average Sunday at Trinity.
