willhelm says: I don't wear flip-flops but these sound interesting. i love flip flops - including the sound they make. was practically born wearing them and rarely ever substitute them with "real" shoes if i can help it. so i'm intrigued by these "non-flipping-or-flopping flip flops"......but will my feet be all sticky as a result? i hate having sticky feet. muddy i don't mind. but sticky....eeew! Well, the article says that the glue doesn't come off on the skin, so I would say that your feet won't be sticky after wearing them. If the 'glue' or adhesive is that tacky , don't even think about wearing them at the beach or thru dusty areas. They would quickly lose their 'grip' and it may not be something you can correct easily. The rememdy is probably to throw them away. Sorry, but that's not innovative. Willhelm, After reading your profile, have you ever been to WV? I've heard Tennessee is just a beautiful state. Anyway, I read you like the outdoors and I thought you would enjoy my flickr page and the scenery shots of WV. I go the mountains quit a bit, but I've never been to WV. I will get there someday. I travel quite a bit and I amu sure I will make my way. I will check out the photos. I've got a few at flickr myself - linked at profile. I need to update. It's beautiful here willhelm. I think you would enjoy it. I'm sure I would.. Nice photos Debbyski. They whetted my appetite for my two-night hike this weekend. If you like to hike Willhelm, Coopers Rocks State Forest is a wonderful hike as long as you don't mind the mountains. The view is breathtaking. Seneca Rocks is also a wonderful hike. We have some beautiful national forests here. |
