The U.S. Department of the Interior Wednesday listed the polar bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) of 1973 based on evidence that the animal's sea ice habitat is shrinking and is likely to continue to do so over the next several decades.

Despite the fact that you may be able to count more polar bears in the wild now than a few decades ago, the United States Geologic Survey published information last year that indicated that, if sea ice continued melting at the rate projected by current climate models, two thirds of the world’s polar-bear population would be wiped out by the middle of the century. Yes, just a mere 40 years from now.

Al Gore is a liar a thief but he is no fool. He is set to become the worlds first climate billionaire due to investments He made in cetain energy companys using prior knowledge that the US government was to pump money into certain interests within this industry.
He is also a enormous hypocrite as His Mansion uses more energy in a single month than the average household does in an ENTIRE YEAR.
His claim that polar bears are drowning due to being stranded on icebergs is a farce and entirely ridiculous as they hunt seals for food and are in fact one of the most accomplished of the swimming land mammals.
