I know plenty of people who would love to glow in the dark, They'd save a fortune on spotlights.
Another thing that would confuse a cat, is the fact that they are hunters, they hunt with camouflage and stealth.
'fluro' is baaaaad camouflage.
Introducing genes to living specimens is only a geneticist's dream at the moment. Perhaps the word nightmare would be more appropriate. Of course that is only taking published results into account. I can imagine with the potential that gene manipulation has, the real capabilities are far more advanced. One thing about genetic experiments is that live human subjects are available with at least two provisos
