But, that is what happens when you have the same number of Doctors covering millions more people. Fewer Doctors will want to spend 8 years of their life and hundreds of thousands of dollars on Med. school to make the same as someone with less schooling and without $300,000 worth of school loans so therefor you'll have fewer Doctors in the future covering more and more people. That is what's happening in the UK and other places where socialized medicine is practiced. Paranoid much? In public healthcare, you get a massive list of available doctors that you can take your pick of. With Commercial Healthcare, you have 3, maybe 4 doctors, and it's never the same one, so they never become your true family doctor and get to know you and your specific problems. What you quoted there means that they will get rid of useless tests and procedures that do nothing, and just pad your bill. You have something against not being overcharged? Waiting lists are not written in the bill, because Public Healthcare naturally reduces waiting lists, despite the desperate ravings of people in the pocket of Big Health Insurance.
