Just because somebody's run out on benefits doesn't leave them any less unemployed than before.

Yes, the government unemployment statistics are one of my favorite gripes. People get to collect for 6 months; after that, they are dropped off the rolls and don't count anymore. Which helps keep the unemployment rate conveniently low.

But it's murder for the workers.
