You thinks correctly. It's a kick-butt improvement, especially in the speed department. Boy, some of my online apps never flew this well before.

Unfortunately most of the add-ons don't work yet but hopefully by the time the Real Candidate comes out - everything will work.

Looks like the browser war never ended after all... here's to this upcoming one

I haven't noticed much of a difference. And is anyone else experiencing problems with Clipmarks? I can't clip anything that is not added with the "orange lines" box checked?

I miss the add-ons too. But I trust that in time they will be modified.

It depends on the sites you frequent, jatfla. Obviously your Internet connection speed won't change, so loading a relatively simple page wouldn't be too much improvement in speed. However, if there's a bunch of Javascript - it's visibly and quite a bit faster. Apparently they redid the whole Javascript engine, which explains the difference in speed.

We should have an improved version of our clipping tool available within a week that works in Firefox 3.

That is good news Eric. In the meantime I'm quite content using the new Flock beta.

Clipmarks clipping tool works like a charm here.

I'm using the current CM clipper with FF3, seems to work ok for the most part... although I couldn't clip a portion of a paragraph that had Jimmy Carter's comment... perhaps it's not the clipper/FF3 combo, but the fact that it was Carter's quote

Only for letting me into the USA... for that - I adore the man... unfortunately I can't stand him for everything else
