I'm wondering how long it will be before we discover that these things were actually just ancient cell-phone towers

I have watched several shows on how they think it was done. This theory is interesting but I would really like to see it real world tested.

Yeah two and a half million blocks weighing on average 2.5 Tons each - placed so precisely, without mortar, that 'shafts' would sight on distant stars - !
If you do the math, if the Great Pyramid of Kufu (Cheops) took 20 years to build?
That's one block of granite, quarried from some place (still not known), shaped with mathematical precision and placed precisely every four minutes and ten seconds give or take a second or two.
.....and that's just for one Pyramid. What about the Sphinx !
