merrie says: This film is thoughtcrime. By rights, it should not exist, and a decade ago could never have been made. Yet it keeps the laughs rolling while enlisting some of the industry’s biggest talents to expose every pseudo-intellectual pillar of Hollywood wisdom about the War on Terror – Samizdat with a smile. It should be celebrated on those grounds alone. Cast (in credits order) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1190617/fullcredits#cast I just saw it, it was pretty funny, had a couple slow moments. But overall worth the money to see. Although the audience was basically all conservative, one guy came in and asked where the liberal section was. And when the National Guard advertisement came on most the theater applauded at its conclusion. It's about time the elitist snobs in Hollywood came down off their ego trips. They may have learned by their tanking box-office receipts that their world-view "sucks" by normal people's standards and their films are boring. |
