Can someone please call Ron Paul and tell him we are sorry and ask him to rejoin the presidential race as an independent? We are in for another four years of the same old politics (just different slants) no matter which one of these jokers gets into office.

Couple things not noted here:
1. The Republican Party is a smaller party than it was four years ago. The hangers-on tend toward the deeper shades of red. Of course a high percentage of them favor McCain - but that same percentage four years ago would have been thousands more people.
2. The % of Obama's supporters who favor him strongly or very strongly is much higher than that of McCain. That means workers at polls and voters showing up.
Stay tuned - there's much to happen yet!

For my sanity's sake I have not (and will not) watch anything concerning the Democratic Convention. However, I may not watch anything from the Republican one either. I've become pretty sick of politics...it's a racket...no longer about principles, patriotism, or maintaining our national well-being. Our Country has become more concerned about globalization than about what is best for us.

Yet with everything including the media greatly favoring Obama, he not only can't pull away from McCain, he has dropped in the polls and McCain has caught him. Unless something drastically changes, Obama could be in serious trouble by November.
