I cope adequately and miss little with ME. It is getting harder though. Thank the cosmos for Firefox.

I meant to say that this is typical of modern sales, especially electrics - the one you buy is superseded a week or two later.

I was having no problems with vista but I have noticed since sp1 after the pc sits for awhile I cant open a program - have to do a powerdown reboot. Something about login failed. It doesn't go to hibernate, just after it sets idle for 10 min or so.
Before sp1 I had no problems.
I'm sure it has something to do with power settings and I haven't looked into it yet. Kinda hoping for a patch from MS.
I liked XP too I hated ME and 98 2nd ed was great. 95 was buggy, Only had 3.1 for about 1 month.

I stepped up to vista because I figured it is the latest tech and I don't want my pc to be too far behind the times. I bought it with vista on it but xp was available.
