thinboy00 says: Anyone notice a parallel to Clipmarks besides me? You can even publish stuff like here! yes, but google have this notebook long time ago. so, google was first I download it yesterday. This one is different and I really like this one. I thought Clipmarks came out first, but there is hardly a parallel here, Google doesn't provide social-networking, Clipmarks does. Hmm, true, it's not exactly a carbon copy, but if you really wanted the social networking part, you could start a Google group. On the other hand, Google isn't Microsoft, so I guess we can trust them. You can think whatever you want about Clipmarks and Google Notebook, but please don't accuse us of copying it. Clipmarks was created and released many months before Google Notebook. I'm most certainly not accusing Clipmarks of copying Google, and am no longer accusing the reverse (see above) Notebook does have it's advantages, but i can't really see using it like I use Clipmarks. So far, the only use I've had for Notebook is trying to use it for research. The advantage there is that I can insert my own notes in between the content that I add to the notebook. I can't see that Notebook will ever lend itself to the social capabilities that Clipmarks affords. I use them both - for different things google notebook was revised recently, easier to use. i had some problem with it before with it 'disappearing act'. it is a very useful tool. i am addicted to both g.notebook and clipmarks. |
