I disagree. It may sound lovely all wrapped up in gorgeous language n all.......but why is using the "rhythm method" acceptable to these MEN.....celibate men I might add.......and not just the plain ole pill or what not?

yes, and any children conceived by the "rhythm method" aren't going to be reared by them either. In the U.S. to rear a child to age 18 (two parents, 2 children, note no college or technical school after high school) if your income is up to $39,100, it costs $124,800. If your income is $39,100 to $65,800 is costs $170,460. If your income is over $65,800 it costs $249,180. This is for a public school education, if you attend a Catholic school or private school, the costs would be higher. Pop for CrazyRedHead's comment.

Through NFP the couple are open to pregnancy, while using the pill is a hindrance to to the possibility of pregnancy. One is pro-life, the other is anti-life. There is a possibility of actually conceiving while using the pill but because of its effects the fertilized ovum "flushes" out due to the thinning of the uterus walls creating a chemical abortion.
