That has to change, The engineer had crossed through the same area many times before (outbound & inbound). Engineers know how important signals are and where they are too. While this tragedy is a horrible one, there are no statistics that tell us how many times this engineer had averted danger or calamity in order to develop a score sheet that compares with other contracted engineer scores. One of the most tragic aspects of this accident is that the engineer's area had not been monitored by a reliable and retrievable camera/mic blackbox.
