I finally found out that my brother is safe in Beijing.
I feel for those who are not.

Is this just the beginning?

Could this be reprecussions from the plates shifting after that quake that caused the tidal wave a few years ago?
In geologic time these quakes are happening pretty fast.
Is this the beginning phase of a global plate resettling that will go on for years to come?

Is the molten core of the earth in turmoil? As the core resettles is it changing the magnetic centers? Are we experiencing locally a global change in the planet?
