<P>A WANGARATTA man turned himself into police last week after footage of him was released as part of an investigation into a fire lit on the Upper Ryans Creek Road during the early hours of January 17.</p> <P>The 21-year-old has been charged on summons after Benalla detectives interviewed him for 45 minutes last Thursday.</p> <P>Detective Senior Constable Warren Ryan of the Benalla crime investigation unit, said the camera footage of the man published in the Wangaratta Chronicle on February 7 prompted the man to contact them.</p> <P>"<B>He contacted us on the date which you ran the story,</B>" he said.</p> <P>"<B>From then, we arranged to talk to him.</B></p> <P><B>"<B>Just him and members of his family arranged the meeting.</B></B></p> <P><B><B>"<B>He’ll be charged with criminal damage by fire, essentially arson and others under CFA laws.</B>"</B></B></p> <P><B><B>A court date is still yet to be determined.</B></B></P></blockquote></div><div style="margin: 0px 6px 6px 4px;"><table style="font-size: 11px;border-spacing: 0px;padding: 0px;" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tr><td style="background:transparent;border-width:0px;padding:0px;">&nbsp;</td><td align="right" style="background:transparent;border-width:0px;padding:0px;width:107px" width="107"><a href="http://clipmarks.com/share/220732BA-790E-4524-B506-66226264428C/blog/" title="blog or email this clip"><img src="http://content9.clipmarks.com/images/c2b-foot.png" border="0" alt="blog it" width="107" height="17" style="border-width:0px;padding:0px;margin:0px;" /></a></td></tr></table></div></div>
