As a pre-baby boomer, I remember many bad news reports about Russia. Shame on America for not publicizing the goodness & thoughtfulness of that country in donating this memorial. It's beautiful & I appreciate this gesture. I hope someday to get to NY to see it. Thank you Russia for such a special tribute to those who lost their lives.
