I remember 'The Goodies' (BBC 70's Comedy) had a Pirate Radio station. The only song they had was 'A walk in the Black Forest.' Do all servers have to be channeled through official lines. I know the original design was intended to allow continued function of the net if parts are attacked or destroyed, but does this allow any protection against official intervention. Can a 'Pirate' carrier exist without being rendered inoperative? I've heard talk that Homeland Security uses Windows. Do they like Vista. or do they still prefer XP? While that seems a good story, and may have limited truth, I'm sure they have a few connections, Could a programmer design an operating system for an administration ...

LOL! These are the people (corporate entities with big bankrolls) Bush is trying to protect with this amnesty law. Amnesty in advance for turning people's telephone and internet records over to the government illegally. We don't have to go there.

Sort of like Retrospective Legislation, that is back dated. "You may not be guilty now, but just wait until we frame a law around the evidence." All in the name of security
