I'm glad they voted yes.

$1.1 billion in federal, state and local government funds are spent annually on health care for undocumented immigrants aged 18 to 64. That amounts to an average $11 in taxes for each U.S. household. In contrast a total of $88 billion in government funds were spent on health care for all non-elderly adults in 2000

ColoradoRight
so stealing only 1.1 billion bucks for people who broke the law to be here is OK?

We will remember that - stealing is OK if its less than $15 per household (and remember that almost half of all households don't pay any income tax at all) - so I guess its $30 - or is it $50?

And I hope you pay more than what you owe in taxes because you are so compassionate. Right?

Wait a minute CR. It's the House Republicans that voted to "steal" $1B. Why are you attacking me?

You passed over this clip Rep. Joe Wilson and House Repubs Rubberstamped Bill to Provide Fed Funds For Undocumented Immigrants to attack me here. Hmmm. You wrote nothing about Joe "You LIe' Wilson voting to fund health care for "people who broke the law to be here." Where's your outrage at Joe Wilson and the House Republicans? I didn't tell them to spend that money. What is clear is that the House Republicans are your puppet masters. They prey on your fears and anxieties when it suits them. They do as they please and keep their duplicities secret.

Am I the only one who sees a difference between providing someone with emergency medical care and giving someone "credits" to buy private insurance?
