Hopefully, Yahoo!'s integration of Zimbra will proceed more smoothly than its integration of Web email company Oddpost. I was a very happy (paying!) customer of Oddpost before the gang in Sunnyvale took them over in 2004. Soon after the deal was announced, Oddpost stopped updating its customer blog and left us in the dark for months about when our accounts would be transferred to Yahoo! Mail. When they finally got around to doing so, the resulting product was clunkier than what we were used to. The new Yahoo! Mail interface appears to work more smoothly today than the first incarnation. Still, that hasn't changed the ultimate outcome: Goodbye Yahoo! Mail/Oddpost, hello Gmail. - Louis Hau
