I was surfing the internet in search of some crazy bingo news to report you and look what I found. I was almost sure that bingo players were capable of everything to raise money for charity but after reading this story I have no doubt.

He has made up a team of 24 followers; they want to break a record, which is playing the world's highest bingo game. So they have decided to simply climb the Mount Everest. They are leaving Oct.19th from Lukla and they hope to reach the base of Mount Everest on Oct.24th, and if everything goes fine they will be playing the highest game of bingo the same day. They have been training to play in this altitude above St John's Beacon Observation Tower. Their goal is not only to break a record but also raising a £100,000 for the Sue Ryder Care charity. I hope the bingo balls don’t freeze.  Are they going to be able to daub their bingo cards with gloves on? Or will their daubers work if it’s too cold? Who knows? We wish them good luck!!
