I've been visitng all world press photos exhibitions since 2002...I've observed that mostly the photos showing human drama and suffering are always valued most highly and they get the best places..I understand that this is press photo, and that showing the poverty of people is always a topic that will touch our hearts, but it's not the only topic to make pictures...Personally my favourite ones were I think from 2004 or 2003, a series of monks from some kind of monastery, they were really good. I simply had enough of seeing suffering I think, it's getting boring and I believe there are some much better photos out there.

My favourite from these is the polar bear, that's a great photo!
