I already serve every day. Husband did his service in the military for 20 yrs. I don't need a stinkin' day set aside to tell me to "serve".

While I'm not happy with the Nazi images in the article, I find this idea troubling. Perhaps he's phrasing his idea a little differently than JFK's in his inaugural address. However when I link this with the current climate in Washington of slamming their agenda down our throats and then demanding that we pay for it (while they do not) very alarming.

The state exists to serve us-- A national day of service to the state. Another idea from Washington, D.C. proving they know nothing about the common man.
