It is amazing to be reminded of the young Leonard without the deep gravel and soul. It is almost like he wants to sing 'properly'! As far as I can recall, this was his only hit single? You may be right. I have fond memories of "So Long Marianne" (sp?) and "The Sisters of Mercy". They were on the album but I seem to remember them on the radio too. Have you heard the album "The Future" ? Got all his albums, read his novels and his poetry! Plus, saw the film last year about him. Also recommend 'I'm Your Fan'. a tribute album to him covering his csongs by diverse singers. So you are a true fan! He's my man! Ok, Abailart baby, you are sensitive soul just like debby and I cannot believe you are not a woman, but who knows, I was wrong once before. Anyway, sweetie, who in the hell broke your heart? Please tell debby, eh? Debby, i was born a woman in a man's body. Only when i became a lesbian did i begin to relax and have fun. My heart was not broken btw. The stinging pleased me! Sweet baby. And debby understands  I rejoice in differences because they contain a beauty that supass understanding by most who fail to see. Debby has never done any stinging nor been stung (well, maybe a little nip once) but boy have I loved hard and I still do.
