Eladora says:
75% of all bone marrow donations do NOT require a general anaesthetic.
So says 26 year old Adrian Sudbury in his Baldy's Blog. His leukaemia has just returned.
If you are aged between 18 and 49 you can help.
There's a video on the site showing how easy it is. If you can give blood you can sign up and help save lives.

Good for you, Antara.
I heard of someone who had donated twice, so it can't be too bad or he wouldn't have done it again.

My husband had AML 4 years ago, had chemo, then in Dec 07 a Stem Cell transplant, he has been critically ill since then but is slowly recovering, His sister in Australia was the donor. I give blood 4 times a year, I am too old to donate bone marrow, but if I could I would as often as I could, everyone should be on the register, it is painless and almost as easy as giving blood, do it SAVE A LIFE, it could be yours one day. Good luck with your campaign, you have mine and my families support.
