Hmmm, I wonder if an automated system like this combined with that heat ray that makes you feel like you are on fire could be used in remote locations on our southern and northern borders to humanely deter illegal crossings?

Great idea, although I have this feeling you and I are about to be jumped on for being Barbaric and incosiderate of those crossing illegally.

Interesting everyone went for the "auto kill zone" comment. Personally, knowing there is and autobot in an area with a human mind behind an armored structure might make me think before I cross a border. Plus, the robot isn't human which means it won't hurt it to get shot at and no chance of having to inform parents that it got injured.
