I heard that to see beyond the dust of the asteroid belt, they hope to put a telescope in orbit around Jupiter.
Edwin Hubble knew he was onto something, and doubts continued, (my own included) as to whether it was worth while. Since, we have seen how beautiful the Universe is, with promises of far greater to come as we improve our 'eyesight'
Hubble was the equivalent to removing a blindfold, and being shown a tropical sunrise.
