It sickens me to see the destruction of a land deeply entrenched in a wealth of historic ancient civilizations. Not totally up to date with my historical time line, I do recall reading about Babylon, Mesopotamia, Persia, the Arabian Knights, Ali Baba , Alexander the Great and more. (I also watch the History channel a lot)
